Back To School: hair and outfit

Hola!

Today I am going to be showing you guys a cute hairstyle and outfit that you could totally rock at school, church, or even to the mall with friends. Let us know what you think, and show us your #btsootd (that's back-to-school-outfit-of-the-day. Pretty creative, huh?!) Ignore my faces, please. I get really focused and forget to smile :)

 Start by sweeping all of your BRUSHED hair onto the side of your choice. You can do a part on the opposite side and bring the hair over your head, if you'd like. Separate your hair into two sections.

 Next, start a simple fishtail braid. To do a fish tail braid, bring a piece of hair from the outermost part of the section and bringing it to the inside of the opposite section of hair. Continue this, switching sections with each stitch of the braid.

When the braid is as long as you want it, or when you are running out of hairs, secure the braid with an elastic.

 Now find the top of the braid, and make a part/hole with your fingers. Grab the braid and bring it through the hole. You can also use a topsy tail for this.

 And there you have it! A cool twisted fishtail braid. It took me ten minutes, but I am really slow when it comes to braids.

 For some beachy mermaid waves, braid your hair using the twisted fishtail at night when it is damp, and leave it in your hair overnight. make sure to braid it on the opposite side that you sleep on, so it isn't uncomfortable. In the morning, blow dry the braid to make sure it sets, and sprits it with a tiny bit of hairspray. Undo the braid for some awesome waves!

 You can add a cool touch by bringing some hair back to show off the waves. It's super easy if you are in a rush.
