Birthday Shopping Haul

Hola!
Hope you guys are enjoying your weekend. It's so nice outside today (at least where I am!).
It was my birthday last week, and I got a bunch of cash.
What else would I do with it other than a shopping haul?
SO, here you are, my birthday shopping haul :)
The whole Sha-bang
As you can tell, I got a ton of stuff. Believe it or not, I got all of this for under $80! Granted, I did get the stuff from Q because my neighbor bought them for me ( I LOVE BIRTHDAYS!), but that entire purchase was only $19.
The first purchase I made was at The Fashion Q 1982. I got a comfy pair of black leggings ($5), and some awesome jeans that feel like leggings($14). I could not believe how cheap their jeans were. I am always growing out of my jeans so it is really nice to find a pair of jeans that not only fit, but cost a lot less than most.
My next stop was Francesca's. I don't know if they are a local place or national chain, but they are a tiny boutique with lots of cute clothes and quirky little gifts. I needed a wallet, and charming charlie's wallets are either huge or a little bag that fits coins and maybe a few bills. This wallet is the same on the inside as the wallet I had been using, which I really liked. The elephants are SO cute, even though one of them has a broken heart. Bonus points if you can find it! This wallet was originally $19, but I snagged it on clearance for $9.

Charming Charlie's was having a buy one get one clearance sale, so I figured it would be a waste if I didn't drop in. The two statement necklaces I picked up were on clearance. The black necklace has little spears and flowers on it, which is quite the oxymoron if you ask me. The pink one is huge and comes with matching earrings. I had been DIY-ing the sock buns and decided $6 wasn't a bad price, compared to all the socks o had been destroying. The necklaces were buy one get one free ($9) sock bun ($6).
It was a sale called happy hour at Charlotte Russe, which means jackets are $20, skirts are $15, and tops are $10. If you couldn't tell already, I am quite the bargain shopper. I got this beautiful teal tunic with bows on the back ($10). It is flowy and very comfy. The denim jacket I picked up($20) is a closet staple that  I had been lacking. Once you break it in, it's comfy.
My last stop was forever 21. I have an ever growing makeup collection, and my makeup bag had been converted to my lip products bag. The makeup bag was super cute with flowers and the word "REBEL" spelled out on both side. It was $8, and it holds a ton. The second thing I grabbed was a tiny mirror that says "Is it Friday Yet?" on it. it's super cute and a great thing to carry in your backpack or purse.

That's all for my shopping haul. If you enjoyed it, please +1 our post and leave a comment what you want us to talk about next. Don't forget, follow our blog to never miss a post again.

Loads of hugs and kisses, Ella.

Getting Back to Buisness

Well.
I am very sorry for no blogmas. Life happened, and I got very caught up in it.
Merry Christmas Happy new year happy valentine's day and happy MLK day!
Starting today, I swear this blog will be much more active. Not that any of you care, because there are none of you. Well, none that are humans, anyway.

ANYWHO, it was Valentine's day yesterday, which is a perfect excuse to do a shopping guide! Girls can be picky, and it's a challenge to find the perfect gift. Here are some tips and ideas to get you on the list of good gift-givers!

1. Who are you giving it to?
Is it for your girlfriend? Your mom? Your sister? Whoever it may be, make it special and unique. If it's your mom, get her something that reminds her that you really appreciate her in your life. If it's for your little sister, give her something that she's into, like a CD by her favorite artist or some comfy socks and nail polish. If it's your girlfriend, get her something that shows her you're really committed to her and to show your love and affection for her. A love letter, telling her all your favorite things about her, and a teddy may be all she needs. If you have a little more cash, I necklace with a heart or a charm that represents your love would make her day.

2. What is she into at the moment?
Watch her closely, see what she's into. Does she constantly watch netflix? A blanket and some popcorn call for a movie night. Is she always watching fashion trends? Give her a magazine subscription to a fashion magazine. Always watching youtube and reading beauty blogs (AHEM AHEM)? Vidcon is coming up this summer! Giving her something that she's into can be the sweetest thing.

3. What's your budget?
Staying within budget can be hard. Saving money doesn't make you cheap! Watch the sunday paper for ads and snatch the coupons out of her empty bags from the stores she shops at. For example: if you spend $20 at B&BW, you get a 20% $30 or more coupon. What a deal!

I hope these tips helped. Have fun shopping, and see you soon!
